She is also an experienced Herbalist and Plant-based Medicine Practitioner, as well as a Spiritual Advisor and Counselor. Her deep knowledge of herbal medicine and plant-based healing further enriches her holistic approach to well-being, allowing her to guide others in achieving physical, mental, and spiritual health.

With an impressive career that bridges the fields of teaching Biology, government program management and scientific research in space exploration, and defense technologies, she brings a unique perspective to her current venture—Unicorn Pharmacopoeia, LLC. Dr. Ford-Francis blends ancient plant-based wisdom with modern scientific principles to create transformative healing experiences. Dr. Nicole Ford-Francis is a multidisciplinary expert whose career spans space exploration, defense technology, education, and holistic healing. As a close collaborator with NASA, her groundbreaking research has significantly advanced space missions. Working alongside NASA scientists and engineers, she has developed innovative techniques and technologies in astronaut health, regenerative medicine, and advanced propulsion systems. Her contributions have been pivotal in enhancing the well-being of astronauts and pushing the boundaries of space travel, making her an invaluable asset to NASA.

Beyond her work with NASA, Dr. Nicole has made notable contributions to the field of defense. Her expertise in biosociology, biology, engineering, and advanced technologies has been instrumental in strengthening defense capabilities. She has partnered with defense agencies to create and implement cutting-edge solutions for complex challenges, driving advancements in areas such as the psychology of warfare, cybersecurity, IT support systems, and complex program management.

Dr. Nicole’s academic background includes a BS in Biology/Pre-Medicine from Morgan State University and Towson State University, an M.Ed. in Special Education from Coppin State University, and a Doctor of Education in Child, Youth & Family Studies, Program Management (Bio-Sociology) from Nova Southeastern University. Her career also includes roles as a Biology Teacher and School Administrator, where she has been a dedicated educator and leader. She served as the National Education Director and as a Civil Rights advocate for the NAACP HQ in Baltimore, Md.  Dr. Nicole provided consultancy with leadership of the National Medical Association (NMA) on Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research. Dr. Nicole is an experienced Science & Business leader in Aerospace and Defense in the Federal Government space. She also was program manager on a large- scale Aerospace contract at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. and served as a consultant and Sr. Vice President of Business Development for Government Defense Contractors.
